Caden grew up in snowy Calgary, Alberta, Canada and now lives in sunny LA where he works as a writer, director and producer. His career has taken him from Edinburgh to Tokyo and all across North America.

In his previous life as an actor select credits include the National Theater of England’s Tony, and Olivier Award winning play WarHorse, at the internationally renowned Stratford Festival of Canada as well as in several television shows and movies.

As a writer and director Caden has partnered with major companies on both feature and episodic projects. Previous select projects include pilot Tuck, Montana optioned by Dave Hill/Gumption Pictures, feature adaptation of Alex Gino's award winning novel, George (Scholastic) for Lotus/Racine Films. He directed pieces for the Los Angeles LGBT Center 50th Gala produced by the multiple award winning, and Emmy nominated Done + Dusted, and his short film Pop is a multiple award winner, including the Leslie Page Award for Excellence In Short Filmmaking and the LA Shorts Gold Award.

Caden produced the short form series What the Elf?! starring multiple Emmy nominee, and Cheers alumni, George Wendt. The series was produced by his production company littleBULL, which he founded with his husband, Michael Lomenda in 2016.

Currently Caden is developing a new feature comedy, American Beef.


HighballTV is a Canadian production and distribution company that offers a subscription-based streaming platform for a worldwide audience, focusing on curated film collections and premiere titles from major film festivals around the world. HighballTV’s production arm supports filmmakers and creatives from equity-seeking groups as a part of their mandate. Upcoming titles from their 2023 release slate include Andre Rehal’s feature directorial debut STRANGERS IN A ROOM and Melissa D’Agostino’s dark musical comedy MOTHER OF ALL SHOWS, as as well as Matt Campagna’s post-apocalyptic spaghetti western, SIX DAYS TO DIE.

Michael Lomenda

Producer

Michael Lomenda (he/him) is a proudly queer, LA-based Canuck filmmaker and co-founder of littleBULL Productions.

Born in Stettler, Alberta, Lomenda started in the arts as a classical pianist, but musical theatre lead him to perform internationally and on North America’s top stages.

He’s starred on Broadway, was invited twice as an honored guest of the Obama’s to perform at the White House, and starred as one of Clint Eastwood’s Four Seasons in the Warner Brothers feature film, Jersey Boys, but littleBULL Productions, co-founded with hubby, Caden Douglas, truly unites all of Michael’s loves under one moniker. Together, they write, produce, and direct their own films and help fellow indie filmmakers bring their own creative visions to life.

littleBULL has produced award-winning shorts Danni & May and kill cat Oakland, created films for internationally renowned producers Done+Dusted and Canada’s own, Raj Kapoor, produced a short form comedy series starring George Wendt, and most recently, completed our first feature, Mother Father Sister Brother Frank, written/directed by Caden, starring Mindy Cohn and Enrico Colantoni, on the festival circuit now!


Matt Schichter is a Canadian film & tv producer and director now living in Glasgow. As a producer, he has two features being released in 2024 and they’re both comedies - Mother Father Sister Brother Frank and Paige Darcy and the Case of the Stoned Cat. His last two movies, Mother Of All Shows (musical traumedy) and Strangers In A Room (psychological thriller) are currently on the festival circuit picking up awards.  

As a director, he’ll next be telling the story of radio station CFNY as it brought new wave and punk music to North America. The documentary feature film will be starting its festival run in late 2024.

Matt has also directed and produced music videos as well as short form content for Google, Microsoft, TD Bank, Xbox and Universal Music. In front of the camera as an actor, he's appeared in dozens of tv shows, films and commercials. As a former radio personality, talk show host and podcasting pioneer, he's interviewed everyone from Robert De Niro to Lady Gaga.

Johnathan Sharp

Co-Producer

Johnathan Sharp is an Actor and Producer based in Toronto, Ontario. After his studies at The University of Western Ontario and Trent University, Johnathan spent several years working in the entertainment industry in Brisbane and Los Angeles before finally returning to Toronto in 2017. Since then, he has made a name for himself on the Toronto film scene as a Producer to watch in the coming years, with a focus of bringing more LGBTQ+ stories to life. On screen, he can be seen starring in the upcoming films “Surfacing” and “Behind Closed Doors.”
